5 months agoChicago White Sox catcher prospect Edgar Quero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run for Double-A Birmingham Wednesday. The White Sox' No. 4 prospect is turning in a torrid month, hitting .381 with five homers and 14 RBI in June. Quero's on-base percentage in June is .422 as he shows why is considered one of the best catcher prospects in the minor leagues. Acquired from the Angels, the 21-year-old looks like the catcher of the future for the White Sox. He has 12 homers and 50 RBI at Double-A this season as he makes a case for a promotion to Triple-A.
