Dylan Laube 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Versatile Rookie Hopes To Climb Depth Chart
6 months agoThe Las Vegas Raiders took running back Dylan Laube with a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft to provide depth in an untested RB room. The rookie was involved in all facets at the University of New Hampshire, leveraging his versatility into receiving and return production that saw him lead the nation in average all-purpose yards with 209.5 per game. That broke down to 749 rushing yards, 699 receiving yards, and 647 return yards, including a school-record 295 receiving yards in a single game at Central Michigan. The small-school competition level explains the low draft stock but he couldn't have done much more there. No matter how creative LV gets with him, he's unlikely to make a fantasy impact out of the gate. But Zamir White has never been a starter before, Alexander Mattison was horrible last season, and Ameer Abdullah is a role player. This means the rookie could sneak into some PPR viability if he wins third-down reps. Laube currently has an RB70 ADP in half-PPR drafts and is the No. 83 RB in RotoBaller's ranks.
