Dylan Moore Heading To Paternity List
6 months agoThe Seattle Mariners placed infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore on the paternity list on Monday and recalled infielder Leo Rivas from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. With Moore scratched from Monday's lineup against the Chicago White Sox, rookie Ryan Bliss will now get the start at second base and will hit ninth for the M's against White Sox right-hander Erick Fedde. The 31-year-old Moore will now be away from the team for up to three games this week. In his place, Bliss or Rivas could see some more starts at the keystone in Seattle. Moore is a decent infield/outfield bench option in AL-only leagues for his modest power/speed combination. The former seventh-round pick by the Texas Rangers in 2015 out of Central Florida is batting .213/.325/.408 on the year with six home runs, 22 RBI, nine steals and 23 runs scored in 169 at-bats for Seattle.
