Seiya Suzuki Back In At DH On Sunday
6 months agoChicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki (oblique) is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the division-rival Cincinnati Reds, serving as the designated hitter and batting second against Reds right-hander Frankie Montas. Fantasy managers were probably pretty worried when Suzuki was pulled from Friday's game early against Cincinnati with tightness in his left oblique muscle. The 29-year-old outfielder has already been on the injured list this year with an oblique injury, but this one wasn't as serious and only caused him to miss Saturday's contest. You'll want to throw him back in your starting lineups despite the fact he's never faced Montas in his career. Suzuki has been a solid contributor for the Cubs this year when he's been healthy and has gone 16-for-54 (.296) with three homers, two doubles, a triple, nine RBI and two thefts in 14 games since May 23.
