Kirk Cousins 2024 Outlook: Sleeper Quarterback Option On A New Team
7 months agoThere are plenty of things working against Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins in fantasy this season. He's coming off a torn Achilles, he will turn 36 years old in August, and he will learn a new system after signing a four-year deal with the Falcons this offseason. But, despite all that, Cousins is a strong sleeper option in 2024. He should still throw at least 40 times per game and joins a Falcons offense that features Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson -- all former top 10 picks. That should help him finish as a borderline QB1 this year, even coming off a torn Achilles. Of course, Cousins won't give fantasy managers any rushing numbers, but that has never affected his fantasy value. He has finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in six of the past nine seasons while averaging 4,049 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 530 pass attempts per year. That volume alone should make him a low-end QB1 option every week.
