6 months agoDespite being a critical piece for the Kansas City Chief's Super Bowl run in 2022, running back Jerick McKinnon finds himself without a job entering the 2024 season. McKinnon scored five touchdowns in 2023 – mainly through the air – but found himself buried behind Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire before a groin injury forced him to miss the final six games leading up to the Super Bowl LVII. While McKinnon still has enough speed to be a threat with the ball in open space, he has been far less impressive when running between the tackles throughout his career. Entering his 11th year, it's tough to project McKinnon to find work as a 32-year-old RB that doesn't offer much on the ground. With a 282 ADP overall in Yahoo drafts, he can presumably be left alone in drafts until his situation warrants a change of opinion.--Alex Ciulla
