Welcome, RotoBallers, to our fantasy baseball waiver wire pitchers for points leagues in Week 10 -- May 27 through June 2. If you're looking for pitchers to bolster your squad next week, welcome aboard. This article includes pitchers who could help secure a win in head-to-head ("H2H") points leagues. Each recommendation is for May 27 through June 2 and is rostered in around half of the leagues on ESPN and/or Yahoo.
We'll have a weekly points-league roundup here at RotoBaller. In the points format, player values can vary wildly from platform to platform. Therefore, we'll highlight where each player fits best based on the scoring systems from ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, Fantrax, and NFBC, respectively.

Points League Waiver Wire - Best Choices
Zack Littell, Tampa Bay Rays
Yahoo: 32%; ESPN 15%
Littell has been excellent for the Rays so far this year. Through his first 10 starts, he's posted a 3.42 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 55 1/3 innings. Perhaps the most notable part of his game has been the elite control he's shown on the mound. He's only allowed nine walks, and it's why he's currently ranked in the top 93% of the league for walk rate.
Littell's first start will be at home against the Athletics. Then he'll pitch over the weekend in Baltimore. While a matchup against the Orioles isn't very preferable, he should provide enough overall production to justify his value.

Gavin Stone, Los Angeles Dodgers
Yahoo: 47%; ESPN 18%
Stone is another pitcher who's been impressive so far in 2024. Through 50 innings, he has a 3.60 ERA and a 1.9% home-run rate. His strikeout numbers aren't great; he's only picked up 34 so far. However, inducing a lot of contact early in counts has allowed him to progress further into his starts. He's completed at least six innings in each of his last five appearances. Overall, his propensity for going deep into games and collecting quality starts and wins makes him an intriguing option for Week 10.
Stone is set to start against the Mets (18th in team OPS) on the road, then the Rockies (17th in team OPS) at home. If he continues to pitch deep into games, and the Dodgers continue to score a lot of runs, Stone could be this week's jackpot.

Points League Waiver Wire - Next Choices
Cole Irvin, Baltimore Orioles
Yahoo: 32%; ESPN 15%
So far in 2024, Irvin's rocking with a 3.15 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 45 2/3 innings. Like Stone, his strikeout rate leaves more to be desired, but he's been great at preventing runs. Like Littell, Irvin has excelled at limiting walks; his 4.4% walk rate is in the 89th percentile. The reason Irvin is a "next choice" and not a "best choice" is because, unlike Littell and Stone, Irvin has spent time in the bullpen. It's not certain how long his leash will be. However, he pitched seven innings against the A's on April 27 and 6 1/3 innings against the Reds on May 3, so he may go deep enough to collect a quality start and/or win.
He'll first pitch against the Red Sox (14th in OPS against lefties) at home. Then he'll face the Rays (16th in OPS against lefties) in Tampa Bay. Overall, Irvin is a relatively dependable option for Week 10.
Points League Waiver Wire - Deeper Choices
Robert Gasser, Milwaukee Brewers
Yahoo: 20%; ESPN 9%
Gasser is yet another pitcher with a low walk rate and low strikeout rate to make the list. The reason he's a "deeper choice" is that he's far less proven than the names listed above him. However, he's been great in 17 MLB innings to start his career. He has a 2.65 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 1.4% walk rate (which puts him in the 99th percentile). His 8.5% strikeout rate is on the other end of the spectrum, sitting in just the first percentile.

Despite his knack for inducing contact, Gasser has two solid matchups in Week 10. First, he'll see the Cubs (17th in OPS against lefties) at home. Then, he'll face the White Sox (dead-last in OPS against lefties) at home again. His final line may not be flashy, but he should put up a decent amount of points.
