Marvin Harrison Jr. vs. Drake London - Who Should I Draft in 2024 Fantasy Football?

Marvin Harrison Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, College FB, WR, NFL Draft Sleepers

The Arizona Cardinals drafted wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Ohio State product, widely regarded as one of the best rookies in fantasy football this year, enters the NFL with high expectations.

Drake London, on the other hand, finally gets the opportunity to play with a great quarterback as the Atlanta Falcons signed Kirk Cousins to a four-year, $180 million deal this offseason.

Both players are projected to have a big year for their respective teams, but who should fantasy football managers prefer to draft first? Let's take a look at their outlooks for the 2024 season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024 fantasy football drafts:

Marvin Harrison Jr. 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Marvin Harrison Jr. is one of the best prospects to enter the NFL in recent years, and many considered him ready to play in the NFL last year. The son of Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison played three years at Ohio State before declaring for the NFL Draft.

During those three years, he had 155 receptions for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns in 38 games. Harrison Jr. averaged an impressive 16.9 yards per reception during his college career and is expected to be a Pro Bowl-caliber player from the jump in the pros.

He will be the new WR1 for the Cardinals, and with Kyler Murray as his quarterback, the 21-year-old wideout could have a historic rookie season.

Drake London 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Drake London was the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He has played considerably well in his first two years in the league given how poor the Falcons' quarterback situation has been.

Last year, the 22-year-old had 69 catches for 905 yards and scored two touchdowns in 16 games, averaging 13.1 yards per reception. London scored a total of 105.38 fantasy points and averaged 6.6 points per game in standard-scoring leagues last year.

This year, with Kirk Cousins as his quarterback, I expect the USC product to record his first 1,000-receiving-yard season. The Falcons are the favorites to win the NFC South this year, and London will play a key role in their success.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?

Both London and Harrison Jr. will likely have great production this year, barring injuries, but fantasy managers should give the nod to the rookie this year.

Harrison Jr. will be the clear-cut WR1 for the Cardinals, receiving plenty of targets to potentially have a 1,200-yard plus and 10- touchdown season. London, on the other hand, will play with a great quarterback for the first time in his NFL career but is surrounded by other players with target-earning ability like Kyle Pitts, Darnell Mooney, and Bijan Robinson.

As a result, the Falcons star will have fewer opportunities to rack up fantasy points than Harrison Jr. With an average draft position (ADP) of 20, the Cardinals rookie should be prioritized ahead of London in drafts this year.
