Former Michigan running back Blake Corum is one of the most popular prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class. The 23-year-old is fresh off a College Football National Championship victory and a 2023 campaign consisting of over 1,300 yards from scrimmage.
However, given the devaluation of the running back position and Corum not being an early declare, his draft stock is up in the air.
When will Corum be selected in next month's draft? Which teams could be potential suitors for his services? Let's dive in.

When Will Blake Corum Be Selected?
According to MockDraftDataBase.com, Corum is currently projected to be drafted around the No. 78 overall pick. This means he's likely to go off the board in the early third round.

The Michigan man rushed for over 2,700 yards and 45 touchdowns over the last two seasons, but his 55th-percentile Speed Score (97.4) and 52nd-percentile college target share (6.9%) leave a lot to be desired. He's not a sure thing to be a workhorse-style back, but as long as he's selected during the first two days of the 2024 NFL Draft, he'll carry plenty of fantasy football intrigue.
Which Teams Could Take Blake Corum?
The Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, and New York Giants have picks in the early third round, and all four franchises could use help at the running back position. Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders delivered disappointing results last year in Carolina, James Conner isn't getting any younger in Arizona, New York just lost Saquon Barkley, and Los Angeles just hired Corum's college head coach, Jim Harbaugh.
Those four destinations make plenty of sense for Corum, so this is a key range of the draft to start the watch for him to come off the board. In a weak running back class, Corum is in play to be the first RB off the board, and he's the fantasy RB1 in the class for many analysts. He may not have an immediate RB1 upside in fantasy football, but he'll be worth rostering as a committee back or a high-end handcuff back.
