Leody Tavares 2024 Player Outlook: Overvalued ADP In Redrafts
9 months agoTexas Rangers outfielder Leody Tavares took the steps forward you like to see from young players in 2023. In his age-24 season, Tavares hit .266 with 14 home runs and 14 stolen bases across 143 games. He scored and drove in 67 runs apiece and posted a solid .733 OPS in the process. He drew walks at just a 6.3% clip but it was a significant step forward for Tavares in his first full big-league season. At the same time, his 287.49 ADP is rich for redraft managers. ATC projects nearly identical numbers in average, home runs, and stolen bases in 2024, but only with a decreased 58 runs and 52 RBI. He's a developing player with a nice power/speed combination with 12 homers and 14 stolen bags projected. However, players such as Jose Siri, Jake Fraley, and Luke Raley are sitting with higher ADPs, offering more value than Tavares is for redraft managers.
