Kawhi Leonard Dealing With Back Spasms
9 months agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (back) exited Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Details were initially scarce surrounding his departure. However, he was shown leaving the arena in street clothes, so most assumed things weren't good. TNT's Stephanie Ready provided an update, reporting that the 32-year-old was bothered by back spasms. Leonard missed Sunday's game with a groin injury and had been questionable heading into this one for the same reason. But now there's a chance he won't be available for Thursday's meeting with Chicago or Friday's contest versus New Orleans. Considering both games are on the road, Leonard might remain in Los Angeles in preparation for the Clippers' next home game on March 17. That said, if the multi-time All-Star misses time, Norman Powell and Amir Coffey could benefit the most from a fantasy standpoint.
