Adolis Garcia Making Cactus League Debut Wednesday
9 months agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (oblique) is making his Cactus League debut on Wednesday versus the Colorado Rockies, serving as the designated hitter and batting third in the lineup. Garcia suffered a moderate left-oblique strain during the World Series last fall, and the Rangers chose not to take any chances with the 31-year-old outfielder early in spring training. Garcia is ready to roll now and will be ready for Opening Day on March 28. After hitting a career-high 39 home runs, driving in 107 and stealing nine bases in 148 regular-season games last year in his second All-Star campaign, he's going to be very popular in fantasy drafts as a low-end No. 1 outfielder/high-end No. 2 while hitting in the heart of a strong Rangers batting order in 2024.
