Brandin Podziemski Won't Play On Friday
10 months agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Brandin Podziemski (knee) has been downgraded to out for Friday's meeting with Toronto. At first, Podziemski was considered doubtful for the game with right knee soreness, but the team has now ruled him out entirely. This means another tweak in the Warriors starting lineup is coming. Podziemski has made six consecutive starts, moving ahead of Klay Thompson on the depth chart. The Splash Brothers could be reunited now in the starting five on Friday against a team that's allowing opponents to hit 37.3 percent of their attempts from deep. Moses Moody, who's already replaced Andrew Wiggins (personal) in the starting lineup, and Chris Paul might also absorb some of Podziemski's minutes, along with defensive specialist Gary Payton II.
