Cardinals Need Help On Defense
9 months agoThe Arizona Cardinals definitely could use more playmakers on offense to help out quarterback Kyler Murray, but The Athletic's Doug Haller thinks defense should be the bigger priority in the upcoming NFL draft. Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. could be available when the Cardinals pick at No. 4 overall, and it would be hard for them to pass him up there. However, they have lacked a lockdown cornerback for years and also need an edge rusher. Above all else, they need an anchor on the defensive line that general manager Monti Ossenfort can build around. If Harrison isn't available early in Round 1, don't be surprised if Arizona addresses their defensive-line needs.
