Gabe Davis Expects To Reach Free Agency
11 months agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis said he expects to reach free agency in March. He also said he'd be open to re-signing with the Bills, but also noted how the whole 2023 season went "and there was nothing" in terms of extension talks. Davis missed both of the team's playoff games due to a sprained PCL he suffered in the Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins and disappeared far too frequently during the regular season for the Bills to be thrilled to offer him a new contract for 2024 and beyond. The 24-year-old has proven to be an unpredictable boom/bust fantasy wideout, finishing this past season with 45 catches for 746 yards and a career-high-tying seven touchdowns in 17 games. Davis has scored at least six touchdowns in all four of his NFL seasons, but leaving Buffalo would be bad news for his already shaky touchdown-dependent fantasy value.
