Bill Belichick A Top Head-Coach Candidate For Falcons
11 months agoThe Atlanta Falcons have former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick as their top candidate to fill their vacant head-coaching position. The Falcons flew him into Atlanta on one of owner Arthur Blank's private plans on Thursday night and went out to dinner with him, according to multiple sources. More meetings are to come, and the Falcons are interviewing other candidates across the league, but it appears that the future Hall of Fame coach could be heading to the NFC South after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl wins in New England. According to The Washington Post's, Mark Maske, some within the league think that if Belichick ends up in Atlanta, his coaching staff with the Falcons could include Josh McDaniels, Matt Patricia and Joe Judge. Belichick would immediately be upgrading on offense with running back Bijan Robinson, tight end Kyle Pitts and receiver Drake London, but finding a solution at QB would be No. 1 on his list.
