Amari Cooper, Marquise Goodwin Questionable For Thursday
12 months agoCleveland Browns wide receivers Amari Cooper (heel) and Marquise Goodwin (knee) are listed as questionable to play on Thursday night in Week 17 against the New York Jets. Cooper is coming off a franchise-record 265 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 11 receptions in the Week 16 win over the Houston Texans. The Browns have been resting Cooper in practices early in the week almost all year, so hopefully they were just giving him more time off on a short week. The 29-year-old has become a much more reliable fantasy wideout since quarterback Joe Flacco took over. If he's active, he needs to be in all starting fantasy lineups, even though he's facing a tough matchup this week and is unlikely to go off like he did in Week 16. If Cooper is out, Elijah Moore, rookie Cedric Tillman and David Bell are likely to operate in three-receiver sets.
