Kirill Kaprizov Bags Two Goals In Win Over Boston
12 months agoMinnesota Wild left wing Kirill Kaprizov had saved up his first multi-goal outing of the season for the Boston Bruins, lighting the lamp twice in a 4-3 overtime win on Tuesday. He tied the game at two 13:12 into the third period and took down the Bruins with a strike at the 2:54 mark in overtime. Kaprizov had previously scored just one goal this month. He's been a 40-goal scorer in back-to-back seasons, so Kaprizov's struggles in front of the net have been very surprising. However, with his shooting percentage standing at 10.1, there's hope he can improve his goal-scoring pace, as Kaprizov is a 15.4 percent career shooter. This season, he's also gone from a point-per-game player to a guy who averages 0.90 points a night. Through 30 contests, the Wild star has amassed 27 points.
