Green Bay Packers rookie wideout Jayden Reed has been a surprising star for fantasy football in 2023, posting 54 receptions for 592 yards and six touchdowns and rushing 11 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns. In half-PPR leagues, he is the overall WR26 after having a WR73 ADP in preseason drafts.
The Michigan State product has yet to miss a game during his debut campaign, but that could change heading into Week 16 after picking up an injury against the Buccaneers.
Is Reed playing against the Carolina Panthers this week? What is his fantasy football outlook if he can suit up? Let's dive in.

Jayden Reed Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Reed (toe) was questionable to return late in Sunday's meeting with the Buccaneers and did not return. The wideout battled an ankle injury entering that contest, so a new ailment is worrisome heading into the second round of the fantasy football playoffs.
Reed caught six of his eight targets for 52 yards and a touchdown before exiting, so fantasy managers hope his latest issue won't keep him off the field for the Week 16 showdown with the Carolina Panthers. For now, there is no new information on his status, but Wednesday's initial injury report should give us a better idea of his potential availability on Christmas Eve.
Jayden Reed Fantasy Football Outlook
If Reed suits up in Week 16, he'll remain on the fantasy radar as a touchdown-or-bust WR4 of flex option. He has scored a touchdown in five of his last six games, but he has cracked the top 36 weekly wide receivers just once in games that he didn't reach the end zone.
That said, he's not bust-proof, but he does have plenty of upside. Unfortunately, the Panthers have surrendered the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wideout in 2023. The matchup and injury concerns are worrisome, but he can't be ignored altogether if he's active on Sunday.
