Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase suffered a shoulder injury in his team's 27-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. This win certainly helped the Bengals remain in the race to the playoffs, but Chase's injury is definitely a big blow.
Chase hasn't missed a single game this season, and even without Joe Burrow, the wide receiver played quite well. He made the job easier for backup quarterbacks, as the Bengals are currently on a three-game winning streak.
How serious is Chase's injury? Will he play in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers? Let's take a look.

Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update for Fantasy Football
As per the latest update, Ja'Marr Chase is expected to miss time due to his separated shoulder. He will not play in Week 16 against the Steelers and is unlikely to be back in time to play in Week 17.
It will be interesting to see how the Bengals' offense plays without the LSU product when they go against the Steelers' stellar defense. Tee Higgins' production will undoubtedly increase in Chase's absence, and the fantasy managers who have him on their team will certainly benefit in the playoffs.
As for Chase, his injury has certainly come at the worst possible time for the players that have him on their roster. The playoffs are going on, and his absence could cause some players to lose their leagues.
Ja'Marr Chase Fantasy Football Outlook
Prior to his injury, Chase had 93 receptions for 1,156 yards and seven touchdowns on 132 targets in 14 games this season. He averaged 12.4 yards per reception and 82.6 receiving yards per game this season.
After 14 weeks, he recorded a total of 203.8 fantasy points in half-PPR scoring leagues while averaging 14.5 points per game. He has had a pretty good season so far, given how Burrow's injury has affected the team this season. Unfortunately, he won't be able to contribute more to your fantasy football teams.
There is a possibility that he might not return to play in the regular season this year, as shoulder injuries like his can take time to heal. The Bengals are currently the sixth seed in the AFC and if they make the playoffs, the 23-year-old wide receiver will be able to contribute.
