Demarcus Robinson – Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Week 15

POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4 with some upside

ANALYSIS: Robinson has been one of the more underrated pass-catchers in his quiet seven-year NFL career. A fourth-round pick out of Florida back in 2017, he spent five seasons as a reliable wideout for the Chiefs where he hauled in 145 catches, 1,441 yards, and 14 touchdowns. Robinson then had a year stint with the Ravens where he put up a career-high 48 receptions, which caught the attention of Los Angeles who inked the vet to a one-year deal.

With the ascension of rookie phenom Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell stepping up, Robinson has seldom seen the field in 2023. He did not log a catch until Week 9 against Green Bay, and up to that point had only seen a handful of snaps on the season.

The past two weeks have been a completely different story for Robinson, who has played a majority of the snaps in back-to-back games, hitting a season-high of 86% in Week 14 at Baltimore. This increased usage has led to seven receptions on 15 total targets for 101 yards and two scores - giving him consecutive top-25 WR finishes. He also saw multiple end-zone targets in this span which is great for his fantasy outlook moving forward.

The aforementioned Atwell has been dealing with a concussion and even after logging a limited practice on Thursday, is reportedly not likely to play. That sets up Robinson to assume the WR3 duties for the Rams, and he couldn't find himself in a better spot against the worst secondary in the league. Washington ranks dead last in yards allowed to opposing wide receivers, second to last in touchdowns, and overall points conceded to the position.

At home with an over/under just north of 50 points, this game should be a fantasy gold mine, especially for Los Angeles. Robinson is still squarely behind superstars Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp in the pecking order, but he is a solid spot start or slightly deeper league flex if you are looking to pivot away from a tough matchup in another option.
