Lions Looking For Creative Ways To Involve Amon-Ra St. Brown
1 year agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has had two quiet games in a row in Weeks 13 and 14, combining for only five catches despite seeing 14 targets for 70 yards and one touchdown against the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. Quarterback Jared Goff said the young receiver has gotten more attention from opposing defenses in recent weeks, which is why the Lions are trying to find new ways to get him the ball. The 24-year-old has been consistent all year, though, and is the WR9 overall in half-PPR scoring with 87 catches for 1,063 yards and six touchdowns. The Lions will probably give St. Brown the squeaky-wheel treatment, but it won't be easy for him to produce against a Broncos defense that has been stingy of late. Either way, fantasy managers aren't benching St. Brown no matter how quiet he's been in recent weeks.
