Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson suffered a hamstring injury in the team's Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Watson didn't play in Week 14 against the New York Giants, and it was the fourth game this season where he was inactive. He missed the first three games of the season due to a hamstring issue as well.
The Packers ended up losing a thrilling Monday night football game to the Giants. The team was without multiple key players. In addition to Watson, Aaron Jones and Luke Musgrave were notable offensive players who were sidelined due to injuries.
How bad is Watson's hamstring injury? Will he return this season? Let's take a look at his current situation.

Christian Watson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The Packers have not provided an official update on Christian Watson's status yet. He is currently questionable to play in Week 15. However, since Christian Watson did not practice leading up to the game against the New York Giants, the chances of him playing in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are quite slim. He is still expected to return later in the season, as the Packers have not placed him on injured reserve yet.
Watson was playing quite well before getting hurt, and his injury is a huge setback for the Packers as well as for all the fantasy football managers who had him on their teams.
Prior to the Week 15 loss to the Giants, the Packers were right in the mix for the playoffs, but now their path has become very hard. They are 6-7 on the season and have to play the Buccaneers, Panthers, Vikings, and Bears in their last four games.
Christian Watson Fantasy Football Outlook
In nine games this season, Christian Watson has 28 receptions for 422 yards and five touchdowns. After missing the first three games of the season, he took time to find form. Before getting hurt, the North Dakota State product had scored four touchdowns in his last three games.
With Jordan Love playing at an elite level, Watson was expected to make a valuable contribution in the fantasy football playoffs. His injury is certainly at the worst time possible, as it will be tough to find an ideal replacement for his production.
He has recorded a total of 87.3 points in half-PPR-scoring leagues this season while averaging 9.7 points per game. Hopefully, the 24-year-old receiver will be able to play again this season.
