PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat, which consists of specific props (catches, yards, touchdowns, etc.) in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!
NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for TNF
Aidan O'Connell MORE than 216.5 passing yards
We got burned by Aidan O'Connell last Sunday against the Vikings when he only managed to throw for 171 passing yards in a 3-0 snooze fest. That being said, he had eclipsed this total in his two prior starts and has a solid matchup at home against the Chargers on Thursday night, In 2023, the Los Angeles Chargers have allowed the most passing yards to the quarterback position overall. They have also allowed an average of 285 passing yards per game to the position. It should also be noted that 11 of the 13 quarterbacks the Chargers have faced in 2023 have eclipsed this total.
Davante Adams MORE than 66.5 receiving yards
Since we are running Aidan O'Connell out on Thursday Night Football, it makes sense to pair him up with the top receiver on the Raiders, Davante Adams. Adams has eclipsed this total in three of his previous four games. Over that same four-game span, Adams has averaged nearly 11 targets per game, so the volume will be plenty enough for him to get over this total. Add in the fact that the Chargers have allowed the fifth-most total receiving yards per game and are allowing an average of 175 receiving yards per game to the position and you have a recipe for success.
Austin Ekeler MORE than 49.5 rushing yards
Austin Ekeler will be up against a Raiders' defense that has allowed the sixth-most rushing yards to the running back position this season. They have allowed an average of 106 rushing yards per game as well as 4.4 yards per carry to the position. Ekeler has eclipsed 50 rushing yards in three of his previous five games, and this Chargers' offense will likely rely on him a bit more in Thursday night's game with Justin Herbert sitting out. If Ekeler can see a workload of around 12-15 carries, something he has done in all but two games this season, he should be able to eclipse this total vs. a struggling Raiders' run defense.
