1 year agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr told reporters after the Week 14 win over the Carolina Panthers that he has suffered three rib fractures this year. Carr has been one of the most beat up players in 2023, but he somehow has managed to play in every game. He entered Sunday's game after clearing the concussion protocol for the second time this year while also dealing with ribs and shoulder injuries. He's a tough dude, no doubt. Predictably, Carr's play has been up and down in his first year in New Orleans and he has been knocked out of multiple contests early. For fantasy purposes, he's extremely risky as a low-end QB2 and will probably continue to be, although he does have a juicy matchup at home in Week 15 against the New York Giants.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
