12 months agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback C.J. Beathard appears likely to start the Week 14 game against Cleveland. QB1 Trevor Lawrence (high ankle sprain) was originally slated to miss a couple of weeks but surprisingly practiced in limited fashion on Thursday and Friday, opening the door for him to potentially start this game. Beathard was also limited this week with a shoulder injury, but was taken off the final report. Regardless of who starts for the Jaguars on Sunday, it is a very poor matchup against a very stout Browns defense that ranks 3rd against opposing fantasy QBs on the year. In a game that is also calling for 20+ MPH winds, as well as some snow/sleet, it's probably smart to avoid either signal caller for fantasy this week.--Ryan J. Goodman
