Isiah Pacheco Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco appeared on the injury report this week with an apparent shoulder injury. Head coach Andy Reid reported that Pacheco was helped out in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder contusion and then was sidelined for Thursday's practice, making it two straight days.
Fantasy managers should monitor the situation closely as the running back will likely need to see participation in some capacity for Friday's practice to give managers the confidence to start him.
If Pacheco is unavailable, it will most likely be a split committee between Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon. Both running backs have totaled four touchdowns on the season.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Outlook
Pacheco has been on an absolute tear for the last three weeks, logging a total of 254 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Now sitting at the number 10 running back on the season in full-PPR leagues, Pacheco should remain a great option for the remainder of the season.
In Week 14, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Buffalo Bills, who rank 18th in the NFL in fewest rushing yards allowed this season. Pacheco should continue to benefit in the rushing game after coming off a season-high 6.11 yards per carry in Week 13.
If Pacheco can see some participation in practice this week, fantasy managers should feel confident placing him as a high-end RB2 with some RB1 upside against the Bills in Week 14.
