Vikings Sticking With Joshua Dobbs As Starting Quarterback
1 year agoThe Minnesota Vikings are sticking with Joshua Dobbs as their starting quarterback for Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Vikings considered a possible change at the position during their bye in Week 13, but with All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) returning from Injured Reserve this week, Dobbs will finally have the team's top offensive weapon to work with. Nick Mullens and rookie Jaren Hall were Minnesota's other options, so it was always more of a long shot that the Vikes would go away from Dobbs, who needs to cut down on his turnovers if he wants to keep the starting job the rest of this season. The 28-year-old is in a nice bounce-back spot as a QB2 with upside against Vegas this week after throwing four interceptions in the Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.
