Colts Not Ruling Out Jonathan Taylor
1 year agoWhen asked if it's safe to say that Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) will miss a second straight game in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Shane Steichen said, "We'll see." Steichen also said he didn't have any updates on Taylor after he had surgery last week on a thumb injury he suffered in Week 12. The 24-year-old was given a three- to five-week timetable after surgery, so it's highly unlikely Taylor is even in consideration to play this Sunday. Taylor should still be stashed in fantasy leagues in case he recovers quicker than expected, but Zack Moss should be expected to once again carry the load in Indy's backfield in Week 14 against a Bengals defense that is vulnerable against the run.
