Russell Wilson Tosses Season-High Three Interceptions In Week 13 Loss
1 year agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson accounted for two more touchdowns in Week 13, but he also tossed a season-high three interceptions in the 22-17 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday. Wilson finished 15-for-26 for 186 yards -- the eighth time this year he's been under 200 yards passing -- one passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown on 10 carries for 44 yards. The Texans defense had Wilson under pressure all day, although he did manage to find favorite receiver Courtland Sutton for a 45-yard bomb to get the team back in the game in the second half. The 35-year-old signal-caller nearly led Denver to a game-winning drive with time expiring in the fourth quarter, but it ended with his third pick in the end zone. Wilson has taken care of the ball and has been efficient in 2023, but that wasn't the case in Week 13. He'll look to bounce back in Week 14 in a divisional clash against the Los Angeles Chargers.
