Chris Olave Still In Concussion Protocol But Not Ruled Out
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) has yet to pass through the league's concussion protocol, but "there's a chance that he could clear it" in time for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, according to head coach Dennis Allen. Olave has practiced in a limited fashion this week and will most likely be questionable on Friday's final Week 13 injury report. The good news is fantasy managers will know whether Olave is active early on Sunday. The Saints are going to be thin at the receiver position, regardless of whether Olave is active, so rookie A.T. Perry, Keith Kirkwood and Lynn Bowden could have bigger roles in the passing game. Tight ends Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson also figure to see more involvement this Sunday against Detroit. Olave is a must-start in fantasy lineups if he plays. UPDATE: Olave is officially questionable for Week 13.
