Chiefs Expect Jerick McKinnon, Kadarius Toney To Play In Week 13
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he expects running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle, hip) to be available to play in Week 13 on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Both McKinnon and Toney were held out of the Week 12 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders last Sunday due to their injuries, but both players should be back on the field this weekend at Lambeau Field. McKinnon should take up his duties as the team's primary pass-catching specialist out of the backfield, but he has merely been a low-upside RB3/flex in deeper PPR leagues for the Chiefs in 2023. Toney hasn't seen a big enough role, either, to be considered a viable flex option for fantasy managers in standard-sized leagues. He has 22 catches for 139 yards and one touchdown in 10 games this year. UPDATE: McKinnon is listed as questionable for Week 13.
