Ezekiel Elliott Limited Again Thursday
1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott (thigh) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Elliott could end up with a questionable tag heading into Sunday's contest versus the Los Angeles Chargers, but he seems to be on the right side of questionable for now. It's hard to get excited about any offensive skill player in the Patriots offense this year, and that's true for Zeke as well, especially as he continues to take a back seat to lead back Rhamondre Stevenson in 2023. The 28-year-old former Dallas Cowboys star is averaging under 4.0 yards per carry on 95 rushing attempts through 11 games for New England. Elliott has only two touchdowns and hasn't scored since Week 7. He'll have a nice matchup against the Bolts if he plays in Week 13, but Elliott is a low-upside, touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in quite possibly the worst offense in football.
