Baker Mayfield Expected To Be Full-Go On Sunday
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle) is banged up and probably won't do much at practice this week to rest himself, but he should be a full-go on Sunday in Week 13 against the Carolina Panthers. Mayfield was at practice on Wednesday in a hoodie and sweatpants, so he's going to be listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's report. The 28-year-old injured his ankle early in the Week 12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts but returned after missing a couple of snaps and finished out the game. Even if he misses multiple practices this week, there's full optimism that he will start for the Bucs this weekend. Mayfield could have limited mobility outside of the pocket, though, where he'll continue to serve as a QB2 in fantasy. UPDATE: Mayfield was listed as a full practice participant at Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
