12 months agoMiami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips (Achilles) was officially placed on the Injured Reserve list on Tuesday. Phillips suffered a non-contact injury in the Dolphins' 34-13 win over the New York Jets last week, which turned out to be a torn Achilles for the young defensive star. Before the season-ending injury, the 24-year-old was on his way to a career year. He had 6.5 sacks, 43 tackles (seven for loss), and 11 quarterback hits in just eight games this season. With Phillips now out for the year, Emmanuel Ogbah is likely to see more snaps for Miami's defense.--Joey Pollizze - RotoBaller
