Demario Douglas Injures Head, Doubtful To Return Sunday
1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas (head) exited during the second half of Week 12 versus the New York Giants. He is officially doubtful to return. Assuming the rookie's day is done, he finishes with a solid stat line of nine targets, six catches, and 49 receiving yards. He managed to produce despite inconsistent quarterback play; Mac Jones struggled in the first half and was replaced by Bailey Zappe, who didn't play much better. On a somewhat concerning note, Douglas did fumble twice on Sunday, though both were scooped up by New England. As soon as Douglas is able to return to the fold, he'll rank as a WR3 in fantasy football.
