Luke Musgrave Dealing With "Significant Injury"
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave (abdomen) has a "pretty significant injury," according to head coach Matt LaFleur. "He didn't say anything all game. He's been in the hospital. This kid is as tough as they come," LaFleur said. The head coach called Musgrave's injury a "significant blow offensively." The Packers play on Thursday against the division-rival Detroit Lions, so it seems pretty unlikely that the 23-year-old will be able to play in Week 12, and he could need even longer to heal up, depending on the exact nature of his injury. If he sits out on Thanksgiving, fellow rookies Tucker Kraft and Ben Sims will get more opportunities. Kraft should be the deep-league streaming target if you're in a pinch or playing DFS on Thursday. Musgrave missed practice for a second straight day on Tuesday.
