Quentin Grimes Sidelined Again On Saturday
1 year agoNew York Knicks guard Quentin Grimes (wrist) is out again for Friday's encounter with the Hornets. The 23-year-old sprained his left wrist on Wednesday night versus the Atlanta Hawks, keeping him out of the lineup on Friday against the Washington Wizards. Donte DiVincenzo got the start and scored 14 points while shooting 4-for-8 from deep in 25 minutes. However, Grimes' absence had a bigger impact on Immanuel Quickley, who had 27 points, six rebounds, and four assists in 33 minutes. Nevertheless, if RJ Barrett (illness), who remains questionable, misses another game, DiVincenzo and Grimes should continue with the same arrangement. But if Barrett returns from his three-game absence, Josh Hart would likely benefit the most.
