Russell Wilson A QB2 On Sunday Night Against Vikings
1 year agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has looked much better under head coach Sean Payton in his second year in Denver, completing 67.9% of his passes for 1,806 yards, 18 touchdowns and only four interceptions for a league-best 6.9 touchdown percentage. The lack of turnovers has been the biggest difference, and he's also more mobile and in better shape physically. Wilson has at least one touchdown in all nine games and two or more TDs in six games. However, he's failed to top 200 yards passing since Week 4 and will face off against a Vikings defense this week that is in the middle of the pack in terms of passing yards allowed per game and fantasy points allowed per game to opposing QBs. The Broncos are expected to continue leaning on their ground game as much as possible, making Wilson more of a QB2 in fantasy lineups this Sunday night in Denver.
