Russell Wilson Throws Two More Touchdowns In Narrow Road Win
1 year agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson didn't stand out in the box score in the 24-22 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, but he has to be given credit for making the plays when necessary to put the team in position to win their third straight game to move to 4-5 after an 0-3 start. Most importantly, he avoided any turnovers while the Bills turned the ball over four times. Wilson went 24-for-29 for 193 yards and two touchdowns while carrying the ball nine times for an extra 30 yards on the ground. After an awful first year in Denver in 2022, the 34-year-old QB now has 18 TD passes to just four interceptions. However, he hasn't attempted 30 pass attempts since Week 5 and hasn't gone over 200 passing yards in a game since Week 4. Expect Denver to continue their run-heavy approach as they look for a fourth straight win in Week 11 on Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings, where Wilson will be a high-end QB2 in fantasy.
