Cole Kmet Listed As DNP Monday
1 year agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) was listed as a non-participant on the team's estimated injury report on Monday after they conducted a walkthrough. Kmet exploded for six catches on eight targets for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 9 loss to the New Orleans Saints, but his status for this Thursday night's clash against the Carolina Panthers is now in question. Chicago isn't going to get much practice in on a short week, but we'll keep a close eye on the 24-year-old's status before Week 10 action kicks off. If he's able to play, he'll be a low-end TE1 option for fantasy managers with added upside if quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) is able to make his return. If Kmet is inactive this week, Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis would split the workload at right end for the Bears.
