Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! Welcome to our Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS prop picks for the games on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Welcome to our brand new NBA DFS series covering Underdog Fantasy contests! We will continue to focus on the NBA DFS props offered on Underdog called Higher/Lower (Over/Under).
Higher/Lower is traditional over/under DFS prop picks – whether you think a player will score Over or Under the set lines, and choosing your amount. You can parlay multiple picks together to vastly increase the juice (e.g., three picks = 6x your bet). Underdog Fantasy offers some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. At Underdog Fantasy, you're not playing against other people – you're just playing against the projections.

LaMelo Ball, 8.5 3's Attempted (LOWER)
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball has been struggling from the field to begin the season. The Ball brother has shot under 30% from deep and went 0-for-6 in his last game. If his struggles from beyond the arch continue against the Houston Rockets, Ball could limit his three-point shot attempts.
Cam Thomas, 24.5 Points (LOWER)
Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas has been on a hot streak to begin the season. Thomas scored 30 or more points in the first three games this year. The Nets will face the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Heat are better on defense than any other team the Nets have faced. Thomas is also not a consistent enough scorer to believe this streak could last much longer. I think Thomas falls back down to Earth on Wednesday.
Jerami Grant, 6.5 Rebounds + Assists (LOWER)
Portland Trailblazers forward Jerami Grant has proven that he cares little about stats other than scoring. Grant is averaging 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season. The Blazer has reached seven combined rebounds and assists just once in four games this season. With Afernee Simons injured, Grant could shoulder more of the offensive load and pass even less.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (HIGHER)
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is among the most well-rounded players in basketball. Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 6.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game this season. SGA has eclipsed 10 combined rebounds and assists in all four games this season, and that trend should continue against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Dennis Schroder, 19.5 Points + Assists (HIGHER)
Toronto Raptors guard Dennis Schroder is among the league leaders in assists four games into the season. Schroder's starting point guard role requires great scoring and playmaking skills, both of which he is capable of. The Raptors guard is averaging 14.3 points and 8.8 assists per game this year. Schroder has reached 20 combined points and assists in three of four games this season. The guard could eclipse this line with points alone on any given night.
Anthony Edwards, 24.5 Points (HIGHER)
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is taking on the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. The 22-year-old has another year of NBA experience and seems more than ready to take the next step towards becoming a superstar in the league. Through three games, Edwards is averaging 25.3 points per game, which is a solid baseline. Facing the defending champions, Edwards will likely need to score early and often to keep his team in the game.
