1 year agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the visiting Trail Blazers. Philly had a game in Toronto on Saturday, so the reigning MVP, who nearly had a triple-double in 35 minutes, could get the night off to rest. Fantasy managers should expect Embiid to get time off in some back-to-back situations during the 2023-24 campaign, although nobody will mind if it keeps him healthy. At any rate, Paul Reed would emerge as an attractive fantasy option in all formats if Embiid doesn't play. Reed would also gain popularity from DFS managers, especially since he averaged 13.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in his two starts last season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
