Pheonix Copley Set For Second Consecutive Start Friday
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Pheonix Copley is set to make his second consecutive start Friday versus Arizona. The 31-year-old beat the Coyotes 6-3 with 24 saves on Tuesday, and Arizona head coach Andre Tourigny will go back to him as the Coyotes kick off a back-to-back set. Copley has gone 1-0-1 early in the season in two starts, but he has struggled to keep pucks out of his net, registering a .826 save percentage with a 3.86 goals-against average. This has been a favorable matchup for the Kings in recent seasons, with the team winning five of the last six head-to-head meetings, so Copley finds himself in a good spot to collect a victory on Friday.
