LeBron James To Keep Playing Limited Minutes?
9 months agoLos Angeles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham suggested guard/forward LeBron James could have his workload monitored this season. When asked if James' 29 minutes in Tuesday's 119-107 loss could become a trend, Ham said that "we'll see. In all likelihood, yes." It's not exactly what fantasy managers want to hear about the 38-year-old future Hall of Famer, who collected 21 points (10-of-16 shooting), eight rebounds, five assists, and one steal in the regular-season opener. James is likely to have his load managed in the games-played department as it is, so it remains to be seen if the four-time MVP will be able to return per-game value in the top-10 range on potentially reduced playing time. The Lakers will look to get in the win column during Thursday's home opener versus the Phoenix Suns.
