Robert Woods Rested Monday
1 year agoHouston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (ribs) was missing from Monday's unofficial practice. Woods was in street clothes and likely had a veteran's day off, although he has been battling a nagging rib injury. The Texans were on bye last week, so the 31-year-old wideout had more time to rest up entering a Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers. Woods could be on the official Week 8 injury report, but it would be a surprise if he didn't suit up and play this Sunday. Rookie Tank Dell (concussion) appears to be on his way to clearing the league's concussion protocol and returning after missing the Week 6 game, which would be bad news for Woods' overall fantasy upside. In his first year in Houston, Woods has 22 receptions (43 targets) for 227 yards and one touchdown in six games.
