Matthew Poitras Scores First Career Goals
1 year agoBoston Bruins center Matthew Poitras had a memorable outing against Anaheim on Sunday, finishing a 3-1 victory with his first career goals. The 19-year-old helped the Bruins turn a loss into a win in the third period, scoring two goals after Mason McTavish had given the hosts the lead five minutes into the final frame. Through his first five career games, Poitras has also tallied one assist. The young centerman has failed to carry his preseason form over to the regular season, but the team has put a lot of trust into him, and Poitras should continue to get plenty of usage in the middle six.
