Brian Robinson Jr. Finds End Zone In Second Straight Week
1 year agoWashington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. had eight carries for 23 yards and a touchdown along with one target but no catches in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. For the second straight week, the second-year running back saved his performance with a touchdown, this one being Washington's only score of the day. Due to playing from behind the entire matchup, Robinson saw little usage while the Commanders leaned on the passing game. However, what's concerning is that rookie running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. saw seven carries as well. If this trend continues, Robinson's position as the unquestioned lead back for Washington may be in jeopardy. Be sure to monitor his role when the Commanders take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
