1 year agoSeattle Kraken left wing Brandon Tanev (lower body) is set to miss approximately a month of action, having been ruled out for 4-6 weeks. The gritty forward was injured in the team's season opener last week and has already been sidelined for two games. In Tanev, Seattle has lost a player who can make an impact all over the ice. Rookie Tye Kartye has been drafted into the lineup in his absence. He's been limited to an average of 8:12 of ice time on the fourth line and hasn't yet tallied any points, but the 22-year-old has been eager to make a mark, registering six shots on goal across two games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
