Dak Prescott, 10.5 Rushing Yards (LOWER)
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott faces the Los Angeles Chargers at Sofi Stadium for Monday Night Football. The Cowboys are two-point road favorites, so Vegas predicts a close game tonight. Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives this under a 15.97% edge with a Sharp App projected line of 8.48 rushing yards. Prescott has been less involved on the ground this season, eclipsing 10 rushing yards twice in five games. Prescott will look to gain yards in other ways on Monday night.
Gerald Everett, 25.5 Receiving Yards (LOWER)
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett is not only facing the obstacle of the Cowboys defense but also competing for opportunities on his team. Everett has been less involved in the passing game when the other Chargers tight end, Donald Parham Jr., has been healthy. Parham is listed as questionable for Monday but logged full practices on Thursday and Friday, so the expectation is he will play. Everett will also suffer from the return of Austin Ekeler, who will demand targets.
Cameron Dicker, 6.5 Kicking Points (LOWER)
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker has been the Chargers' answer to the kicker concerns of the past few years, nailing 19 of 20 field goal attempts and all 22 extra point attempts for the team in 2022. While Dicker is good, I expect the Chargers to be extra aggressive on offense tonight in a tough matchup. Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is known for going for it on fourth downs often, and that trend will continue. The Chargers will go for touchdowns over field goals to win this game.
Justin Herbert, 11.5 Rushing Yards (HIGHER)
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is one of the more underrated rushers at the position because everyone always talks about his arm. The Chargers quarterback rushed for 27 yards and two touchdowns on 12 attempts in Week 4. While that is an outlier game, the Cowboys have the second-highest PFF grade for pass rush, so Herbert could be escaping the pocket often in this matchup. Herbert has 11 or more rushing yards in three of four games this season, and that trend should continue on Monday.
Austin Ekeler, 85.5 Rush + Rec Yards (HIGHER)
Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler will return from his high ankle injury to face the Cowboys on Monday night. In the one game he played this year, Ekeler collected 117 rushing yards on 16 attempts and four receptions for 47 yards against the Miami Dolphins. The Chargers will need to utilize Ekeler even more now, with wide receiver Mike Williams going down with a torn ACL. Ekeler can easily reach 86 yards if he sees 20 or more opportunities on the ground and through the air.
Jake Ferguson, 36.5 Receiving Yards (HIGHER)
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has been talked up by his quarterback Dak Prescott often, and the rookie tight end is beginning to produce on the field. Ferguson has earned seven targets in three out of five games this season and should continue seeing targets if the Chargers offense forces Dallas to keep up. Prescott has always liked throwing to tight ends, and Ferguson is the latest beneficiary. The Cowboys rookie tight end should continue to be involved in the passing game.
